If you try to drag the task onto a gray vertical (weekend) it moves it to the next work day (friday or monday). In order to know how many working days we need a starting date as a reference. The samples in the below picture show the same 25 calendar days interval yet they produce different working days (18 to 20 days) considering how many of the weekend days will fall into the given 25. By the way, i tried switching to a 7 day week calendar, but that didn't work. It's the same with the full version of microsoft project, but you can edit the calendar to correct it, i can't find the same feature for the app in teams. If you put in a month with a calendar that has 5 day work weeks and holidays. You could make a 7 days/week calendar and make that calendar the project calendar, which means that every task will get it by default.
